Shubham Health Care Products Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Australia's high-quality diaper and baby care brand AIWIBI in Nepal, has contributed NPR 5 million to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund for the relief of Bhote Koshi flood victims.
The company raised the funds from the sales revenue of AIWIBI products to assist families affected by the Bhote Koshi flood. The relief amount was formally presented via check to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle.
Upon handing over the check, AIWIBI Nepal Managing Director Beauty Kumari Sarraf expressed her pride in being able to extend a helping hand during a time of disaster. She stated that the support and trust of consumers, retailers, and dealers who purchased AIWIBI products made it possible to collect NPR 5 million in just three days.
"Thank you Prime Minister, thank you Home Minister, thank you Finance Minister, the Army, Police, civil servants, volunteers, and everyone who reached out with helping hands to brave the floods—my sincere respects to you all," she said.
Addressing consumers, she added: "A big thank you to all the mothers. Without your cooperation and support, we would not have been able to deposit this NPR 5 million cash contribution into the Prime Minister's Relief Fund today."
She emphasized that this aid was only possible because of the consumers who bought AIWIBI products. "If we hadn't earned a profit from your past purchases, we wouldn't have had the courage to make this donation. And if you hadn't bought our products over these past few days, we couldn't have raised 5 million in just three days," Sarraf noted.
According to her, the NPR 5 million contribution was matched based on 100% of the amount consumers spent purchasing AIWIBI products over the last three days. "This donation wasn't made by AIWIBI alone—it was made by you. Every mother has a share in this, along with the hard work of retailers and the faith of our dealers. We simply connected that trust to make this happen," she explained.
AIWIBI launched this relief initiative during the disaster by connecting its network of consumers, retailers, and dealers. Sarraf shared that she felt immense pride in acting as the catalyst for AIWIBI's relief campaign. "I feel deeply proud to have been the facilitator of all this," she stated.
